Panic in Ruto Camp as Duale officially Joins Raila Camp,See what he said over the weekend

National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, has declared that he will stand with ODM leader, Raila Odinga, on calls to amend the Constitution through a referendum.

Duale has significantly drifted away from Deputy President William Ruto, who he has been supporting for several years now.

Ruto has opposed calls to have the Constitution amended to expand the Executive, arguing that the country is not ready for such moves.

But speaking on Sunday in Garissa, Duale insisted that the country needs to adopt a Parliamentary system of Government, a move that is being spearheaded by Mr. Odinga.

Duale's move could further cause confusion among Jubilee’s Tanga Tanga brigade, which supports DP William Ruto's 2022 quest.

"I am still supporting parliamentary system.”

“If they're amendments, I am still with Raila on this.”

“Inclusivity is not only at the lower level.”

“It must also be at the presidency.”

“Anybody who wants to lead must support parliamentary system," he said.

In 2012, Duale as among ODM MPs who dumped Raila Odinga for Dr. Ruto.

They formed United Republican Party which has since folded to form Jubilee Party.

Mr. Odinga is embroiled in a tough political duel with Ruto, with both shifting focus on constitutional amendments being backed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
