Sylvanus Abere’s shocking revelation may stir a new twist of events in the murder of Joyce Syombua and her children where Major Peter Mugure is the key suspect in the case. Speaking to Ruth Mwaniki, Sylvanus expresses his grief over the sudden demise of Joyce Syombua and her children. He further claims to have fathered one of Syombua’s children in 2009 before Major Peter Mugure legally married her.“In 2009, I was in love with Joyce but it happened another man (Mugure) had won her heart. I decided to quit only to be told years later that Peter Mugure was not the biological father of the girl. He (Peter Mugure) suspected I was responsible for this but I did not believe it in the first place since Joyce had not revealed it to me” he reveals. I only came to learn of it this year when they were conflicting after Joyce decided to admit everything. Efforts to demand Shanice from them proved futile as the Major always threatened to end my life for fooling around with his wife. It is very sad that my only daughter died very painfully. No human being deserves that” a sorrowful Sylvanus explains. The 46 year old father of 7 boys now wants justice to be served for his dead daughter. He blames Major Peter Mugure for not solving the issue amicably maintaining that he was never aware he had made Joyce pregnant by accident. “This was just an accident. Fate is fate and nobody can change it” he concluded.
