Major Peter Mugure whose estranged partner and two children went missing 21 days ago ,the two bodies of the children and the wife were found today.

Nanyuki DCI boss Jacob Mureithi told Citizen Digital that the suspect was arrested on Friday.

Joyce Syombua and her two children Shanice Maua and Prince Michael disappeared on October 25 after visiting the army officer in Nanyuki.

According to the injuries in the body,Joyce syombua was strangled and the two children sustained deep cuts.

According to forensic experts, Syombua was the first one to be killed before the children,she strangled her as it was visible from her neck, After Killing the wife ,he then started stabbing the children randomly before starting burrying them after placing the bodies in a sack.

After digging the grave ,he threw the body of the wife first,Then pilled the bodies of the children on top of the body of his wife.

He then covered the shallow grave.
