Horrifying details about Jacque Maribe and her fiance Jowie’s relationship continue to emerge.
The two who have so far been arrested over the murder of Monica Kimani, gave police contradicting statements that raised the eyebrows of the homicide detectives.According to the Standard, on the fateful day Monica Kimani was killed, Jowie stormed a popular club in Westlands wearing pajamas and a pair of slippers and he seemed angry.
Apparently, he had been looking for Maribe after killing Monica until about 2:30 am (September 20) when he traced her to the establishment, where she was enjoying some quality time with her friends and colleagues including popular politician and media personalities.
The paper reveals that Jowie tried to make his way to the VIP area but was restricted by security. He was later allowed in after the VIPs left and he and Maribe had a bitter confrontation before leaving.
September 21), the couple went out partying at a different club in Kilimani when another fight started. According to witnesses, Maribe and Jowie had a bitter exchange and at one point, she shouted at her lover demanding her car keys and ATM cards.
One of the witnesses said;
They left their table as if to talk outside, but they did not come back.
They drove back home and its there that Jowie tried to commit suicide using a pistol he had borrowed from his neighbor, Brian Kassaine.
After shooting himself, Jowie went to Kassaine’s house asking him to take back his gun which was still Maribe’s house.
One of the witnesses said;
