Former TV anchor Janet Mbugua has revealed that she is saddened by reports that her estranged husband Eddie  Ndichu together with his twin brother Paul Ndichu assaulted a woman at the Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi over the weekend.

As reported in our previous post, the incident was reported by Edgar Obare and activist Boniface Mwangi who shared footage showing the altercation.

This publication could not however confirm whether the faces that appeared in the footage were of the twin brothers.

While reacting to the drama that has touched on her husband, Janet condemned the incident while calling upon justice to prevail.

I am sadden by increasing incidents of Gender-Based Violence. Over the last decade, I have joined my voice to efforts to #EndGBV. I condemn all forms of GBV irrespective of who is involved and will continue to speak out against it. We have laws in Kenya and justice must prevail.she wrote.

Janet and Eddie have reportedly parted ways after six years of marriage. The duo tied the knot on 30th May 2015 and was blessed with two children.
