Sister to the slain athlete Agnes Tirop has divulged worrying details on what transpired between the late and her husband before the latter reportedly murdered her.
In the chilling incident, World’s record breaking Tirop’s body was afew days ago found with knife wounds lying beside her bed indicating that she must have been brutally murdered.

The sister has now come out with a detailed explanation on what exactly happened in her face before the sister breathed her last. She narrated to the media that husband to Tirop landed on her with a club after they quarreled over sh 20,000.
She stated that the suspect amid the quarrel, pulled out a club, took off his shirt and immediately started beating Agnes infront of her. He wanted the late to give him sh 20,000.
Her attempts to stop the man from harming the sister failed to yield fruits as the suspect went on beating Tirop to appoint she started fainting and bleeding.

“I was there and he took his shirt off after which he hit her with a club. I asked him why he was doing that despite the fact that I was there witnessing all of it as her sister but it’s like he didn’t want to listen to me. He asked my sister to give him sh. 20k and it’s like she refused and that’s when they started arguing, we need Justice,” she said.
The family now wants the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI to expedite investigations and charge the culprit so that he can face the full wrath of law.
