Photos: Meet 5 Kenya Poorest Mps

The Kenyan political scene is often associated with a flamboyant display of wealth and glamorous living.
However, there are a few humble MPs who continue to demonstrate that leadership is not synonymous with wealth.
Here is a list of 5 MPs who live a humble life:
1. Irungu Kang'ata
Leading this list is the Kiharu MP who drives a Toyota Ist and one whose rural home does not have a fence.
The youthful MP owned a Toyota Prado before he became an MP but later donated it for use by his constituents in weddings and other community events.
"Good leaders interact to get a feel for what people go through. They share their ideas and problems, then you figure out solutions," Kangata explained his simple lifestyle.
2. Nelson Gaichuhie
Subukia MP Nelson Gaichuhie is not a fan of media attention and this allows him to walk comfortably in the streets of Nairobi.
He occasionally walks from Parliament buildings to the chaotic Taveta lane near the Kenya National Archives where he takes a matatu to his Eastlands home.
3. Hassan Mwanyoha
The Matuga MP has on a number of times fallen victim to the mean-looking security agents who man Parliament buildings.
his simple dressing, he drives a Toyota Caldina which is dwarfed by his colleagues’ fuel guzzlers.
Mwanyoha once excited his parliamentary colleagues after he carried his clothes in an A3 envelope during an official foreign trip.
His constituents often find him relaxing at the local food kiosks in Diani.
4. Abdi Bule
The Tana River Senator lives in the humble neighbourhood of Eastleigh.
In 2014 during anti-terror operations in Eastleigh, Bule was forced to kneel by security officers at a roadblock near Mlango Kubwa.
He told the Senate he was driving with his children. Even after producing national and Senate IDs, police rejected them as fake.
5. Enock Kibunguchy
While his colleagues use choppers and commercial jets in their weekend travels to their constituencies, the Likuyani MP uses public transport buses to travel to his rural constituency.
The former Health Assistant Minister was recently spotted drinking a soda at Easy Coach bus service in Nakuru.
