Former KDF officer Peter Mugure who is accused of killing his wife and children has now been linked to IEBC official Chris Msando’s gruesome murder.
Reports that are yet to be established link the ex-KDF soldier Peter Mugure, who is currently a suspect for the murder of his wife and children, to the killer gang that was hired to finish off IEBC official Chris Msando.
He is said to have confessed this to one of his inmates in remand.
This daring confession is now fresh evidence to the DCI in the ongoing investigations to unearth the killers of Msando.
Chris Msando was murdered and his body parts partially mutilated in the run-up to the 2017 elections, his death remains unsolved till this time.
Mugure claims his life has never been the same after his last assassination assignment.

Msando’s mother, bitter with grief, cursed her son’s murderers and wished they be deprived of any peace of mind, words that have now seemingly come to pass.
The ex-soldier had resorted to secluding himself from his fellow military men in their camp. Reports indicate that his seclusion continued to worsen and he was even suspected to have run mad.
Mugure’s colleagues at the Laikipia Air Base believe he suffered depression arising from his family issues with his estranged wife.
Others also attributed his perceived depression to an accident he had had when he tried to fly a plane unsuccessfully, an accident that left him disgracefully grounded for some time.
One of the officers said Mugure had portrayed peculiar behavior. At one point, he stood in the rain for hours, something that disturbed his fellow soldiers.
“At one time while driving in the camp, I spotted him standing in the rain for over 30 minutes. He was being rained on and was constantly looking at his watch,” the colleague said.
He said Mugure was ‘grounded’ after he crashed an airplane as a trainee pilot, adding that that could be the clear evidence of his personal and mental problems.
