Jowie Irungu deletes all Jacque Maribe photos and shares photos of his ex girlfriend who visits him Daily in prison

Who is running the Instagram account of remanded suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder, Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu
This is the question Kenyans are asking after Jowie’s account ‘registered unusual activity’ on Friday, November 29, after almost a year of dormancy.
Remanded at Kamiti Maximum Prison since September 2018 after being charged with the murder of the business woman alongside his fiancé Jacque Maribe, Jowie's account had consequently since his arrest been inactive and frozen in time.
On Friday, however, Maribe’s photos were deleted from the page and an image of Jowie all smiles with an unidentified woman posted.

Maribe, a former Citizen TV anchor, was on her part freed on a Sh2 million bond in October and, according to a ruling by Justice James Wakiaga, barred from reading news or conducting interviews on matters related to the case.

Judge Wakiaga in his ruling stated that the prosecution did not prove that the media personality would interfere with witnesses.
“Based on the materials placed I am unable to agree with the prosecution that Maribe will interfere or abscond court or act in any manner prejudicial,” ruled Justice Wakiaga.
Jowie surprised the broadcast journalist at a city restaurant on July 30, 2018, after he went down on one knee and proposed in a romantic moment attended by among others Hot 96 presenter Shiks Kapienga and media personality Terryanne Chebet.
