Milimani Chief Magistrate, Francis Andayi’s wife, Mwajuma Lutenyi Mohammed, succumbed to a heart disease on Tuesday night, K24 Digital has learnt.
Mwajuma’s family say she had “bravely fought the condition for long”.
Sources within Andayi’s family on Wednesday morning told K24 Digital that Mwajuma breathed her last at the Mater Hospital in Nairobi on Tuesday evening (January 28).
“She developed physical weakness after arriving in Nairobi from her matrimonial home in Kakamega on Tuesday evening. We took her to hospital, but, sadly, she lost her life while receiving treatment at the Mater Hospital,” said our informant.
Family have set Friday, January 31, as Mwajuma’s burial date.
She will be laid to rest at her matrimonial home in Ebuyonga Village in Khwisero, Kakamega County.
Mwajuma, who was in her 40s, is survived by her husband and three children.
