Caroline Kangogo requested her parents to bury her in a wedding dress in her suicide note, they have honored her request.
In her suicide message to her family and parents, Kangogo asked that she be buried in a wedding dress. The message were found in a mobile phone in her pockets after she died.
The late Kangogo left behind her final wishes before she shot herself dead in her parents’ bathroom on July 16th 2021.
Kangogo’s parents honored her wishes, her body was fitted with a wedding dress as per her request in a draft text message found after her death.
Mourners attending Kangogo’s burial at her parents Nyawa village home in Elgeyo Marakwet county were allowed to view her body.
The late Kangogo also asked to buried at her parents’ home in her suicide note because she had separated with her husband Richard Ng’eno.
The policewoman said she was depressed and accused her husband of philandering and neglecting her an her children.
The message appeared meant for her brother as she asked him and her parents to take care of her children because “their father is too much into women.”
Kangogo’s former husband Ngeno and family members from Bomet also attended the burial in Elgeyo Marakwet.
