Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor said that Caroline Kangogo died because of gun shot wounds to the head.
She had torture marks in her hands, she was also strangled, and she also had visible head injuries, autopsies conducted on Thursday, July 22, indicated.
Toxology tests were also done on her body.

Caroline blood had a high level of alcohol concentration. She had also smoked weed as there was traces of weed in her system.
The toxology report shows also she had high concentration of Diazepam.
It seems she was drugged before being murdered by unknown people or she took it herself so that she will not feel pain while dying.
Diazepam affects the central nervous system and decreases brain activity. The drug, which is administered as an oral liquid, injectable solution or a gel leads to intense feelings of happiness, mental relaxation and reduced stress. Like Rohypnol, Diazepam is used as a date rape drug.
