A police landcruiser ferrying the late Kangogo's body arrived at the facility's funeral home some minutes before ten oc'lock on Tuesday morning, and is expected to undergo the much awaited autopsy anytime from now.
Government pathologist Johansen Oduor has landed in Eldoret and is expected to conduct the postmortem.
This is expected to bring to an end the uncertainty and scuffles between the police and the family that rocked the country on Friday last week, after Saturday's burial plans were forced to be postponed over failure by the government to conduct autopsy on Friday.
On Saturday, the family of the late Kangogo announced it will set the new burial date once her postmortem rescheduled for Tuesday has been done.
Kangogo's father, who was overwhelmed by the delays, broke down on Friday in Iten, accusing the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) for the failed autopsy. He had demanded to be given the body for burial, saying he doesn't need the postmortem so much since he has no case with anybody.
It was earlier expected that the exercise will be conducted at Iten county referral hospital morgue.
