According to reports on social media, the late Mary Nyambura had earlier on been assaulted by police officer identified as Benard Stevo.
She seek medical treatment at Njoro sub-county Hospital whereas, Benard Stevo inhumanly shot her fifteen times before turning the gun on himself.
Photo of Mary Nyambura was first shared by her close friend who eulogized the late with an emotional post. She condemned the heinous act in the strongest terms possible.
Nyambura’s body is currently at the morgue awaiting autopsy results and burial preparations. Opera fraternity wishes to send our deep heartfelt to relatives and friends, may her soul rest in eternal peace.
