"I was still a student"Ruto mpango wa Kando Speaks on how Ruto wooed her and reveals Why she married 3 other men after Ruto dumped her

Deputy President William Samoei Ruto is not new to controversies. From fake deals, land grabbing, dams scandals, love affair, Ruto is indeed a newsmaker.

Ruto is married to Rachael Ruto and together they have four lovely children. However, DP Ruto has another baby mama named Prisca Chemutai Bett with whom they have a daughter, Abby Cherop.

Bett met Ruto in 2005 while at Moi University. She was introduced to him by a mutual friend. Ruto was then a Member of Parliament.

She affirms that Ruto made several advances until she gave in to her requests. In a short time she conceived and gave birth to a daughter Cherop Ruto-inspired by her father’s name.

After the child was born, Ruto took care of her but the support stopped after Ruto became the Deputy President.

She added that the DP would occasionally send Sh35,000 through a messenger, money she mostly received only whenever she threatened to sue.

In a rejoinder, Ruto, however, refuted the claims that he had neglected his daughter. Through his Twitter account, the DP stated: “My 11-year-old child Abby is well catered for including her education in private boarding school. Politicians & Busybodies should keep off.”

Abby Cherop was born in 2006 and now 15 years.  On Monday, November 18, 2019, Abby emerged as one of the top candidates in KCPE, scoring 406 marks. She is currently at Alliance Girls high pursuing her secondary education.

However, she broke into the limelight in February 2017, when the DP came clean about her existence.

Prisca said DP ruto was not catering for Abby's needs until 2013 when she wanted him to take care of the needs whereby Ruto accepted and provided fully for their daughter.

Prisca is now grateful for what Ruto is doing despite that she loves keeping her life private.

In an interview with Kenyans.co.ke  Prisca Bett disclosed intimate details about her daughter, who she praised as the love of her life.

According to Ms Bett, Abby was brought up in a Christian setup and was taught to be a God-fearing girl. She upholds virtues that have set her apart from the other young girls of her generation.

"She is so generous and loves to assist other people. She loves the church," Bett lauded her daughter.

The DP is also a staunch Christian and has built an altar inside his official residence in Karen. He has also been on the spot for generously contributing lots of money to churches and harambees.

Being the daughter of the DP was expected to heap pressure on her. However, the outgoing girl has managed to thwart the pressure as her mother raised her as a common mwananchi.

"She is a good footballer and athlete. She does not like cooking as she is more of an outdoor person," Ms Bett revealed.

Having topped KCPE, Abby aspires to be a doctor, as she has a calling to help others. Her mother also spoke on whether there was a likelihood that she would take after her father, and build a name in the political sphere.

"It will be her decision when she grows up as she was the head girl in her school and has the leadership skills. I wish her all the best and I really want to see her prosper and pursue her dreams and just grow up as a normal Kenyan God-fearing girl," Ms Bett prayed.
