Kibwana,Mutua, Oparanya Ranked Best Performing Governors In New Survey(Full List)

 A new survey by Insight Strategists Solutions Africa in partnership with City Hub Limited has ranked Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana the best performing county boss in Kenya. Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana was ranked the top-performing governor.

Kibwana scored 80% in development ratings and had an approval rating of 73.8%. 

Murang'a governor Mwangi Wa Iria emerged second (73.4%) in the poll that was conducted between September 7 to September 9 across all the 47 counties. 

Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya was placed third with 71.3% in the report seen by TUKO.co.ke. . 

 Governors Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, ISS Africa lead consultant Ben Mulwa said the poll focused on the governors' development and approval ratings. "If you look at the report that analysed both second term and first-term governors, you will find out that some county bosses like Kiambu's James Nyoro performed quite well despite being in office for less than two years," Mulwa said. 

The respondents were proportionally distributed in the 47 counties and 290 constituencies with respect to the population. According to ISS Africa, each county was treated as an individual universe and assigned a cluster sample ranging between 1051 and 1067 which translated into a margin of error of +/-3% at 95% degree of confidence.
