Panic-stricken but relieved is the best way to describe a young female admirer of former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko. The lovely lady just found out how disturbingly close she came to being recorded and, as she put it, ”kuanikwa na peg” by Sonko. This comes in the backdrop of Sonko’s exposé which revealed a woman who showed her boobs to the former city governor.

Yesterday, as Sonko continued to post his exposé about the judiciary which he has christened, The Sonko Leaks, he came under fire from a section of netizens who criticised him for treachery and lack of honour by always recording others.
A defiant and unapologetic Sonko reiterated that he will always record people, and unless you are a cartel, you need not worry. He escorted this with an unprintable expletive directed towards one of his Twitter followers who dared to advise him.

However, all the attention went to the young lady going by the names Derb Mich.
Derb Mich confessed that she had been constantly and regularly considering sending direct messages to Mike Sonko with the hope that she would eventually convince him and get him to go out on a date with her.
However, after watching how Sonko had disgraced and exposed the woman in his leaks who was careless enough to show herself half-naked to Sonko, she began counting her lucky stars that she had not gone through with her original plan to the end. Her tweet read,
