A boy was having a wee at the roadside when a lorry ploughed into the back of his parents’ car, killing them instantly.
The horror unfolded on Friday (19 Dec) as the family sat in a traffic jam.
Diego Fernando Suárez and Lina Marcela DĂaz were inside the stationary car with their younger son, while their eldest, had stepped out to relieve himself.

Lina could be heard laughing as she filmed him by the roadside.
Moments later, just as the boy turned to get back in, an HGV slammed into the rear of the family’s car, shunting it into another lorry.

The vehicle was crushed between the two trucks, killing Diego and Lina at the scene on the Buga-Buenaventura road in Colombia.
Remarkably, the brothers survived the crash near the hamlet of CĂłrdoba, as reported by Need ToKnow.
The orphaned boys were both given medical treatment after the tragedy.

Diego and Lina owned a grocery shop in nearby Bellavista, where they were well known and much loved.
The business was reportedly looted after the tragedy, and a woman was also caught trying to break into the family home.
The crash remains under investigation, but authorities believe brake failure may have been to blame.
