The husband to the Slain KBC journalist has finally given opened up about the ongoing investigation after his wife and editor to KBC television, Betty Barasa was murdered by unknown Gunmen who allegedly attacked her while she was heading home after which they forced her to her bedroom before shooting her several times.

Husband's Statement
Speaking to a group of detectives from the director of criminal investigations, the husband of the deceased claimed that his wife was not used to hiding things from him because according to him, she would always tell him even when she had the slightest problem and so due to this reason, he stated that she might have not known what was going to happen.
This is happening at the same time when her work mates also claimed that they didn't know whether or not she might have been in danger because according to the reports given by her colleagues, they claimed that the deceased was an outspoken person who would always confide in some of them.

At the same time, agents from the director of criminal investigations have revealed that they have found a possible evidence that might help them solve the mystery behind the death of the deceased because according to them, they claimed that the suspects dropped one of the phones they had stolen from the deceased in a nearby bush while fleeing from the crime scene.
His remarks has sparked alot of mixed reactions from Kenyans who seemed to have been confused on why there was an increasing number of murders in Kenya in the past few months.
With a section of Kenyans claiming that maybe this was because of the current situation where alot of Kenyans were jobless making them do just about anything in order to make ends meet, others went ahead and called upon the agents from the director of criminal investigations to look into this matter before things get out control.
