Fresh details indicate Caroline Kangogo was involved in shady deals with her colleagues, who are now protecting her Kangogo is the main suspect in the murder of John Ogweno and Peter Ndwiga who were said to have been in a romantic relationship with her However, the DCI sleuths said there was more to the murder of the two men saying the love triangle notion might be a smokescreen.
The investigations and pursuance of Caroline Kangogo have taken a new twist as detectives say she was part of a crime syndicate operating in the Rift Valley. Corporal Caroline Kangongo allegedly killed two men and she is currently at large.
Fresh details indicate that the cop, accused of killing two men, was involved in shady deals with her colleagues, who are now protecting and aiding her escape police dragnets.
A source intimated to the Daily Nation said Kangogo was part of two crime syndicates involved in extortion, robberies and protection of politicians and businessmen in the vast Rift Valley.
Caroline is being protected by 3 police officers who are ready to die for her and 4 armed robbers.

Kangogo is the main suspect in the murder of Constable John Ogweno in Nakuru and a civilian, Peter Ndwiga, in Thika who were said to have been in a romantic relationship with her.
However, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations sleuths said there was more to the murder of the two men saying the love triangle notion might be a smokescreen.
The detectives said the killings might have been a case of a deal gone south, adding that other police officers apart from Kangogo were implicated in the incident. Consequently, as one group of rogue officers is baying for her blood, Kangogo is suspected of enjoying the protection officers in the syndicate she belongs to.  Nakuru County Criminal Investigations Officer Anthony Sunguti said some of the people the fugitive was communicating with are senior officers and dangerous criminals. The detectives said what needs to be done at the moment is to protect her from other rogues offices so that she is arrested alive to give an account of what happened. What drew the attention of the investigations was how Kangogo left clues all over the crime scene without concealing identity, which was unlikely to a police officer of her calibre.
Special team mobilised To boost and intensify the search, the rogue police officer described as armed and dangerous, DCI mobilised a multi-agency team from elite units in the force. The team comprises the police, military and those from the investigations agency.  Being unreachable on the phone, the unit will physically conduct surveillance on major roads, including Nairobi-Nakuru-Eldoret and Nairobi to Mombasa. Previous reports indicated that the corporal's phone signal had shown that she had visited six counties and investigators believe she was using public service vehicles while also concealing her face. more: https://www.tuko.co.ke/418578-caroline-kangogo-new-twist-dci-policewoman-protected-by-colleagues.html
