Detectives from the director of criminal investigations have arrested a woman in connection with the death of Kenyan Olympic Champion Agnes Tirop who was found dead in her house a few days ago.
According to the reports given by the investigative police officers, they claimed that the deceased was allegedly found dead with a Knife wound on her abdomen indicating that she had been murdered by her killer.

Her death which was announced on different media outlets sparked Alot of angry reactions forcing the police to go after the suspect who was later identified as her estranged husband. According to the reports given by the family of the deceased, they revealed that the suspect allegedly called them via the phone to apologize for what he had done.
Reports given by police officers who are currently investigating this incident revealed that the suspect was trying to get out of the country by evading police road blocks before he was arrested by police officers after he allegedly rammed on a vehicle in attempts to escape from them.
While reacting to this incident, the family of the deceased have called upon the director of criminal investigations to help them get their daughter's Inheritance back claiming that the suspect had already transfered most of the money of the deceased to his accounts. In their own opinions, they claimed that he allegedly murdered her in order to get her inheritance.
In the latest development on the case, it has been revealed that police officers have arrested a woman in connection with the murder of Tirop. According to the reports given by the detectives from director of criminal investigations, they claimed that the suspect was allegedly caught on Cctv cameras a day before the deceased was killed.
The woman along with two other suspects are currently being held in police custody. According to the reports given by the DCIs, they claimed that they are currently reviewing Cctv cameras to get more information on what happened on the fateful day.
